4th book in the series “The Traherns.” I’ve read most of the remaining books in this series, and will excitedly move on to her other works. I am more and more impressed by so many aspects of her writing. Each book stands alone, although it's fun to follow along by reading them in order, following some of the minor characters, and noting how the main characters from earlier books are woven into the story. These are fun reads, not getting too heavy, but offering adventure, colorful and distinct characters, and a good story. Her stories are paced perfectly, and move right along while giving plenty of detail about the characters, the setting, and weaving a wonderful story. There are no superfluous words, but nothing is left that felt to me it needed more development. There is plenty of action, much of it unexpected, with the end result being a fine and exciting story woven around interesting characters and a well-defined setting.Product details

I find it totally amazing to find out how people managed during exploring new territory.
The love of family. How to survive a broken bone and many more adventures. Very interesting.
Loved the ending.
I had read a previous story from this series "the prettiest girl in the land" (or something like that) and I really enjoyed it. This story was sadly lacking. It started off fine. The writing in the technical sense was good and although the plot had merit; the story itself was boring. The characters just plodded along their lives and then the story ended.
luckiest man in the left. I love these books they're very entertaining. I would recommend these books to everyone who loves to readwestern romance.

I couldn't put it down. Nancy radke is becoming one of my favorite authors
I liked that it was a clean story. Both characters show great fortitude, strength, care and wisdom. Each took care of the other when needed and learned they could be depended upon. Realistic, believable and likable characters.
